Preview KVK's – "Indian Council of Agriculture Research, New Delhi has designed many plans and projects for development country wise by establishing Krishi Vigyan Kendra in each district of the country. In this light of this KVK was establish under the aegis than State Agriculture University i.e. G.B.Pant University of Ag. And tech., Pantnagar, This KVK was sanctioned by the ICAR in date of August 1992 and come in to the functioning of this KVK started in the January, 1995 . After the division of State this KVK is function under the aegis of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel University of Agril. and Tech., Meerut since April, 2001.
District Badaun is situated in South East of Rohilkhand Division. Geographically, situated at 27.40N latitude and 79.31E longitude. Adjoining districts of Badaun are Farrukhabad, Bareilly, Rampur, Moradabad, Kasganj, Sahajanpur and Pilibhit respectively. Geographical area of it is 5168 sq. meter. This is a agriculture based district of Uttar Pradesh. Ramganga, Ganga are the main rivers of district. Major crops of the district are Wheat, Paddy, Sugarcane, Potato , lentil, Toria and millets and vegetable cops etc."
