Preview KVK's - Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) sanctioned the establishment of Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK) at Shikohpur Gurgaon in the year 1983 under the administrative control of Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI), Pusa New Delhi. Shikohpur is about 50 Km. from IARI New Delhi and 15 Km. from district headquarters Gurgaon. It is connected to NH-8 (Delhi-Jaipur) through a 2.5 Km. long metallic link road. The Kendra started functioning in 1984.
