Taking the note of the above activities, KVK, Dhanauri came into existence in 2004, as a center of technology assessment, refinement and demonstration of technology for the overall development of the farmers of the district Haridwar. The KVK is situated at Dhanauri in Tehsil Roorkee at a distance of 12 km from it. Its location is by the side of Upper Ganga Canal on Old-Roorkee road, which is about 18 km from Haridwar railway station towards Delhi NH 74. The center specializes in seed production of cereals, pulses and sugarcane. "
