The 3rd Global Vertical Farming Show - GVF 2022, which took place on November 29th and 30th at Welcomhotel By ITC, Dwarka, New Delhi, wrapped on a strong note. Top-tier worldwide enterprises from multiple verticals catering to Urban Agriculture, CEA, Vertical Farming, Protected cultivation, Hydroponics etc. displayed their best technologies and solutions while networking, analysing and brainstorming with important industry leaders, key policymakers, and other expert enthusiasts.

S Chellaiah - Director - Horticulture, NDMC, Dr. Naveen Patle - Additional Commissioner (Horticulture), Department of Agriculture & Farmers' Welfare at Ministry of Agriculture, Annapoorna Shankar - Sr. Investment Specialist & Sector Lead - Agriculture, Invest India, Dr. Naved Sabir - Principal Scientist, IARI, GOI, Dr. Murtaza Hasan - Principal Scientist, ICAR-IARI, GOI and many other dignitaries joined in and went extremely vocal about this emerging industry’s adaptations and proliferation in their lecture and engaging panel discussions.
In their presentation, they shared policy updates and subsidies for horticulture in India and discussed the causes affecting the new farming age, as well as other concerns and tech solutions, such as the world's constantly rising population, food insecurity, food waste, climate change, and the demand for natural resources. Representatives from the sponsoring companies and other organisations demonstrated their services and solutions catering to Vertical Farming and urban agriculture in India.
Tahir A Bari, CEO & MD of TAB group, gave his closing remarks at the end of the Conference Sessions, thanking all the Key Policymakers, Participants, Speakers, Media Partners, and other Stakeholders who contributed to the success of this show, and finally, announced the show's successor - the 4th Global Vertical Farming Show, which will be held in September 2023 in Dubai!
