Pant University of Agriculture & Technology, Pantnagar. It is situated at 1960 amsl in the Tharali block of district Chamoli of Garhwal region, Uttarakhand.
Since its establishment, Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Gwaldam is serving the farmers community of the district Chamoli as ambassador of G. B. Pant University of Agriculture & Technology, Pantnagar (Uttarakhand) with an area of 7.78 ha between the lap of scenic beauty of central Himalayas. The KVK is well connected with University headquarter, district headquarter and state capital by roads with a distance of 215 km., 108 km and 280 km. respectively. The land of KVK is broadly divided into two parts viz., Horticulture farm (2.50 ha) and Agriculture farm (5.28 ha) but as per current land utilization it was covered by agricultural crops including vegetables (1.77 ha), orchard and fruit nursery (1.14 ha) demonstration and experimental area (0.82 ha), building, roads and water-bodies (1.41 ha) and non-cultivable forest (2.64 ha)"
